Catherine Mescall

Duty Solicitor

Catherine graduated from Royal Holloway, University of London, with a Masters degree in Modern History. She completed the Graduate Diploma in Law and Legal Practice Course at the College of Law, Bloomsbury, in 2007 and obtained a Bachelor of Laws degree (LL.B) in the process. She joined Lansbury Worthington in 2008 and following the successful completion of the police station accreditation process; she took up a training contract in May 2009 and qualified a duty solicitor at the start of 2012.

Catherine specialises in the most serious of Crown Court cases, successfully defending clients accused of murder, grievous bodily harm, sexual abuse, large scale multi-handed drugs offences, money laundering, fraud and those involved in complex confiscation proceedings. She also prepares cases for appeal to the Court of Appeal.

Catherine has large own client following developed through her personal dedication to clients and tireless enthusiasm to achieve the best outcome for every single client.

Catherine is articulate, highly focused and professional, with a proven history of excellent results such securing an acquittal last year for a defendant accused of a murder following trial at the Old Bailey. She is a fierce defence for all people facing criminal proceedings.
