Client Acquitted of Violent Robbery

Richard Gowthorpe has secured a unanimous not guilty verdict for a client charged with a violent robbery offence before Kingston Crown Court.

Richard successfully convinced the jury that the allegation against the client was a case of mistaken identity, despite the fact the clothing the client was arrested in had the complainant's blood all over it. The client, who was on trial with three co-defendants, was acquitted along with one of the other co-defendants. The two other co-defendants (and who were not represented by Lansbury Worthington) were convicted and both face immediate custodial sentences.
