Whatever the case you will benefit from personal contact with a senior lawyer who will run your case and be available to you from start to finish. We are not confined to the London area and can arrange representation throughout the UK.
We provide a wide range of services; please select from the menu on the left of this page.
Below is an overview of each section:
We have considerable experience of personal injury litigation, ranging from minor injuries through to severe head and spinal injuries, and fatal accident claims. Much of our work is done on a “no win-no fee basis” but we also act for a number of clients who have legal expenses insurance (e.g. attached to motor or home insurance policies). We do also have a legal aid personal injury franchise, although legal aid for personal injury work is very restricted.
We are able to represent clients who are bringing or defending claims at the Employment Tribunal, as well as advising both employees and employers on all aspects of employment law before matters reach that stage.
Criminal defence work is the largest area of work that the firm does and we have many years experience in this field. We have advised clients facing everything from the most minor to the most serious allegations, including murder, terrorism offences, armed robbery, fraud and international money laundering.
Our motoring offences team is a sub division of our criminal defence team. We can guide you through the pitfalls of drink driving offences, speeding and dealing with totting up. In some cases, even if a defence to the allegation is not available, it may be possible to avoid points or disqualification if certain specific “special reasons” or grave hardship apply.
Again, this is closely linked to our criminal defence team and we have considerable experience of advising on breaches of licence, licence terms, and prison disciplinary procedures.
Claims against the Police
We are able to mix our knowledge of both criminal procedure and personal injury litigation to identify and pursue claims for false imprisonment, wrongful arrest, wrongful recall to prison, and malicious prosecution.
County Court Agency
Our civil law department is able to act as agent for other solicitors at West London and Central London County Courts.
