    Thomas graduated from the University of Leicester in 2003 and was awarded an LLB(Hons) in Law. He was called to the Bar of England and Wales by The Honourable Society of the Middle Temple in 2004.

    Thomas has a broad experience of Criminal and Regulatory Law and has been involved in a number of high profile cases ranging from high-yield investment frauds and SFO investigations through to international terrorism, murder and conspiracy to supply class A drugs. He is a Duty Solicitor and has extensive experience advising both at the police station and at the Magistrates' Court in both Criminal and Extradition matters.

    Thomas has been awarded Higher Rights of Audience in All Courts and All Proceedings meaning he can personally represent clients in all Courts from the Magistrates' Court through to the Supreme Court. He appears most regularly now as a trial advocate in the Crown Court and has a particular interest in technical legal arguments. He has had many cases dismissed or discontinued after making representations to the Crown Prosecution Service or after legal argument in Court. In addition to his trial work Thomas has appeared on a number of occasions at the Court of Appeal and has secured significant reductions in sentences imposed at the Crown Court.

    He is a member of the Solicitors Association of Higher Court Advocates (SAHCA).
